In September 2007, the Age of Chivalry mod was brought into the world. The Age of Chivalry, and all that followed… Also the creator of the LAserSword Mod (LSMod) says it´s possible.Ĭould you ask someone from the devs/admins how to do it? I really would like to have the starwars related maps with LSMOd, some with BlackKnight mod and the most maps without any mod.Tl dr: Modding and Community / Private Servers are here for Steam and Epic. I just think it needs some more command or so to actually make it work. Keep in mind that ? options specified in the map list will carry between map changes." Maplist=aoctd-moor_p?modname=someothermod Maplist=aoctd-frigid_p?modname=BlackKnight "You can specify the mod you'd like to use in the maplist as well (in PCServer-UDKGame.ini), allowing you to switch between mods if you want. The creator of the BlackKnight mod for example gives a little description on his steam Workshop page () how to do it: Problem 1 is fixed now!Ĭoncerning Problem 2: I´m pretty sure, that it is possible to change mods betweeen maps. What can I do? And what do I need to put behind the maps, where I do´nt want any mod active? Whoever helps me on these issues, I´m very grateful, because I haven´t found anything on the Internet to solve this problem. When I open the Vote mask and chose a map they are four maps are listed like this: Somehow, if I do this, no mod is active at all in Game. This should work: Bridge and moor will have BlackKnight. Maplist=AOCLTS-NoMercy-CM_p?modname=LSMod Maplist=AOCLTS-Bridge_p?modname=BlackKnight But I woul like to use some mods, like the lasersword mod, only in some typical starwars maps, so instead of putting a command to my strat.bat I go to my maplist and do the following: Using a mod: When I want to use a mod I put this into my start.bat for example "AOCLTS-Moor_p?steamsockets?modname=BlackKnight" - The mod now works for all maps, if I take out the mod-command, everything is without mod and works fine. But I would have like to have the LTS Version in my maplist.Ģ. Only when deleting the map from CookedSDK folder I can get rid of it. Even when I take out the LTS version of my maplist, the map (in all gametypes) is still there in my ingame vote option. When ingame, I go for Vote map, all versions (FFA, TD, KOTH etc.) are availible. So I added this version "AOCLTS-Fourcorners_p" to my maplist. For example, I donwloaded the Fourcorners map, which I only wanted to play in LTS. No matter if I put the map in my maplist (PCServer-UDKGame.ini) or not it appears in game. I usually download the maps by using the command "-sdkfileid=xxxxxx" in my start.bat. Hi folks, right now I´m hosting dedicated server, but I have two questions about hosting custom maps and mods.ġ. ![]()
